Hi everybody,
It's great the Guestbook is still being used for encouragement and well-wishing and even weirdness after all this time! :P That being said, it's time for your reminder: this Guestbook is moderated. I may not be your Webmaster any more, but I still monitor the website and email. I will still not allow this Guestbook to be used in a way that could cause harm to The Spirit of the Volunteers. That includes disparaging remarks by anyone that could bring down the morale of this organization.
Comments that are light, funny, encouraging, smart-aleky, within the bounds of community standards of decency and good-taste and maybe even off-the-wall are gleefully accepted, from anybody. Other than that, the comments (and any responses to them) will be deleted.
If you have a disagreement with another student, with a 'former' student, with a parent, with an AISD/Bowie music program policy, with any Bowie marching band/music teacher, with a decision made by any Bowie marching band/music teacher, exhibit some class. Have the courage to contact the student, parent, AISD board or teacher directly and work it out eyeball-to-eyeball. Marching band is a military society, and as such there is a chain of command. Use it.
